Well you must try to avoid it first by playing proper strokes and doing good preventive drills and exercises. If you have it, use elbow straps or have a therapy.

Tennis elbow can be quite challenging to overcome. As nadalespanol said, for tennis players, it is mostly due to poor backhand strokes and technique. If you do one handed backhands, that is even worse. Stick with the two-handed stroke. When it comes to treatment, opinions vary. Here is an article that I came across that should help you out.
